The Judge of the Municipal Court in Augusta, Kansas sets the fines, bonds, and costs associated
with violations of local traffic and criminal offenses. Traffic fines require $30.00
court costs in addition to the assessed fine(s). The court costs are added to all citations
except seatbelt violations, parking violations, and tobacco violations.
Court costs must be paid regardless of whether or not an appearance is made in the
Municipal Court.
