Records Section
The Records Section maintains all records relating to cases Initiated by the various divisions of the agency.
The Kansas Open Records Act regulates what information must be released to the public when requested.
Our records section is responsible for creating copies of this information and dissemination of the information
as needed.
The policy of the Augusta Department of Public Safety is to charge a fee for copies of reports and indicia to cover the cost of the reproduction and the cost for the personnel who spend the time reproducing the items.
To request a copy of a police report or an accident report, contact the Augusta Department of Public Safety in person at 2100 N. Ohio.
